Glenthorne in Grasmere - and they had plenty of fine weather (most of the

trek from Borrowdale to Wasdale with Sue P, spending 3 nights in Wasdale to
allow a day on Pillar and Scafell Pike. The weather stayed mostly dry, except
for rain, hail and stong winds on Scafell Pike - Sods law!

winter sunshine during this gentle break with Jo in Wharfedale. They had a
great time - and even went out to a pantomime one evening...!
