6 nights full board & ferries: £535

Here is the first of 2 opportunities this spring to enjoy the abundant wild flowers and stunning views of Guernsey's coastal paths.

Fuller detailView from Sark.
For this holiday on Guernsey in the Channel Islands, we will be based at comfortable Saints Bay Hotel, which is located just back from the cliffs of Icart Point. From here we will have immediate access to Guernsey's spectacular coastal path in each direction - with all that a 'coastal path' implies (stunning sea views, cliffs & coves, and more ups and downs than some low intermediate walks). We will reach other walks around the island by minibus or by public bus, and take day trips by ferry to the smaller islands of Sark and Herm nearby (weather permitting). Guernsey can be reached by plane from several mainland airports, or by Condor ferry from Portsmouth, Poole, or Weymouth. The Saints Bay Hotel is a short taxi ride from both the airport and the port. 20-27 Apr - High Intermediate La Gomera
Hotel, pension & rooms - Marian - Canaries
7 nights part board, ferry & all transport to walks: £625

An exciting trek around the circular island of La Gomera in the Canaries. Grand rock monoliths, exotic flowers, sea cliffs plunging to crystal clear waters... La Gomera has it all! (Day pack only throughout)

Fuller detail
La Gomera.La Gomera is one of the smallest of the inhabited Canary islands, 30 minutes south of Tenerife by ferry. Few places in the world have the natural wealth of this circular volcanic island: misty northern laurel forests, scorched canyons, grand rock monoliths, palm groves, and sea cliffs plunging to crystal clear water below. Ancient tracks and trails thread through this landscape, allowing us to make an anti-clockwise circuit of the central volcanic massif, Alto de Garajonay. After a first hotel night in San Sebastian, we'll walk from Agulo to Vallehermosa, staying here in another comfortable small hotel for 2 nights tA break with a wonderful view!o allow a stunning sea cliff walk in this corner of the island. We then ascend to characterful Pension Sonia in Chipude, high on the central massif and close to the summit. The next day is long but breathtaking, descending to Playa Santiago on the sunny south coast for 2 nights in apartments by the sea - a wonderful place to take a rest day or catch a boat trip around the island. From here our last day's walk back to San Sebastian is striking. We then have a last night in San Sebastian to celebrate before catching the ferry back to Tenerife for our flights home. Guided by Marian. (Day pack only throughout - luggage is transported by taxi).

Here's a weekend break at popular Lulworth Cove on the Dorset coast with Barbara H.

Fuller detail
Walking down to Mupes Bay.This April weekend is based at the Cromwell House Hotel in Lulworth Cove, allowing us to explore the beautiful Dorset coast in each direction - taking the path from the village to Durdle Door and beyond on one day, and walking to stunning Mupes Bay on the other. If you can arrive by 1pm on Friday, there can be an extra walk inland from the Cove. (These coastal walks are all well within the Low Intermediate grade, but may involve more 'up' and 'down' than some other low intermediate destinations). 23-26 Apr - Intermediate Borrowdale
Walking centre - Linda - Lake District
3 nights full board: £240

3 days of wonderful days on the intermediate fells of Borrowdale, staying at the Glaramara Centre near Seatoller.

Fuller detail Walking on High Spy overlooking Derwent Water.
This short break with Linda offers 3 days of wonderful Intermediate walks in Borrowdale: ridge walks and waterfalls, craggy fells with fabulous views, spring flowers, the first lambs - and we'll be well placed to enjoy it all at the Glaramara Centre near Seatoller. Though its décor is simple and like a hostel in some respects, Glaramara has mainly single rooms without a supplement, serves good food, and is fantastic value in every way. Its bar and large comfy lounge both have open log fires, and the general atmosphere is warm and friendly. From here we can access all the best intermediate Borrowdale walks - tranquil Dock Tarn or the splendid High Spy ridge; Glaramara might prove irresistible across the valley, or if the weather keeps us low, there are plenty of lovely low rambles through Borrowdale to enjoy.

Centre - Barbara B & Diana - Sussex - Low Intermediate
3 nights full board & all transport: £285

Fuller detail Bosham across the water.
This 3 night break at our new venue, Earnley Concourse centre on the south coast near Chichester, offers you a choice of Gentle and Low Intermediate walks enjoying the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as fine views from the South Downs. For Gentle walks we can head across the fields to Pagham Harbour and 13th century St Wilfrid's Chapel on one day, and on another day we'll enjoy views of Chichester Harbour when we walk to the pretty villages of Itchenor and Bosham - taking a brief ferry ride across the channel. This Bosham walk can also be extended to make a Low Intermediate walk to the cathedral city of Chichester with its Roman walls and fine medieval Market Cross. Another Low Intermediate walk will head up onto the South Downs through the fantastic yew trees of Kingley Vale for superb views across Chichester harbour to the sea. On the last day both groups can enjoy walks of different lengths from East Lavant, taking a path which brings you gently up onto Downs overlooking Goodwood Racecourse, then finishes through fabulous bluebell woods. Earnley Concourse centre is a wonderful new 'find' for WW groups, with plenty of comfortable ensuite single rooms available, a large dining room and comfortable lounge, beautiful grounds, and even an indoor heated swimming pool for relaxing after walking!

A 3-day break in Grasmere over May Day - one of the most beautiful times of year to be walking in the Lake District.

Fuller detailA break beside Grasmere.
May is a beautiful time of year to enjoy the Lake District. There'll be bluebells emerging in the woods, bright new leaves on the trees, and lambs in the fields. We might start with the scenic lakeshore path beside Grasmere and Rydal Water, stopping at Rydal Hall for tea, then returning beneath the trees along the old Coffin Trail. Another lovely walk is the one past Sour Milk Gill waterfall to Easedale Tarn, or there are woodland paths where we might hear woodpeckers, pretty Loughrigg Tarn to visit, or the wild valley of Far Easedale to explore. For these 3 nights we'll stay at comfortable Glenthorne Guest House in Grasmere - offering very good food, ensuite twin rooms and standard singles without a supplement. Guided by Heather P

A chance to get off the beaten track from Littletown Farm in the Newlands Valley.

Fuller detail Looking down into Newlands & across to Causey Pike.
Our new venue at Littletown Farm in the Newlands Valley beyond Keswick has proved a great success with 2009 WW groups - Marilyn's hospitality, Sarah's excellent cooking, and the farm's location so close to the routes up Cat Bells, Hindscarth and Robinson… Staying in this beautiful valley will allow us to get more off the beaten track - setting our high level sights on the Robinson to Dale Head ridge overlooking Buttermere, the fabulous Coledale Horseshoe which includes Grisedale Pike, or even mighty Grasmoor overlooking Crummock Water a short drive away. Littletown Farm has its own licensed bar, serves very good home-cooked evening meals, and offers comfortable twin and single rooms (with ensuite or private facilities) each with its own stunning view looking directly onto the fells. 1-8 May - Low Intermediate Mull
Small hotel - Fran - Scotland
7 nights full board & trip to Iona : £680

A beautiful time of year to visit the Western Isle of Mull - staying in a comfortable women-run B&B above a lovely deserted cove with views to die for!

Fuller detail
The beautiful Mull coast.Mull is one of the largest of the Hebridean islands off the west coast of Scotland. It has a long and strikingly beautiful coastline of high cliffs and bays, with caves and rock arches, and views out to the many smaller islands that surround it. Most notable of these is the 'Holy Isle' of Iona where we will walk on one day. Another rewarding visit might be to cathedral-like Fingle's Cave on the island of Staffa, whose geometrical basalt pillars have even inspired a Mendelssohn overture! On other days we will take beautiful walks along Mull's coastline, stopping at sandy bays, or walking to other famous caves and rock features. The walks will be Low Intermediate in grade. We will be staying at women-run Ardachy House Hotel on the south coast, overlooking the deserted sands of Ardalanish Bay and the islands of Jura, Colonsay, and Islay. Iona is only 7 miles away; seals, otters and the elusive Corncrake are regular visitors to the area, and there is a standing stone and Iron Age fort close by. The hotel offers ensuite twin rooms, and plenty of ensuite or standard singles. Some of the bedrooms and the residents' lounge have a lovely view towards the sea. Mull is reached by train from Glasgow to Oban, then a magical ferry to Craignure on Mull, & local bus from the ferry to Bunassen where Maggie & Cathy will collect you. Guided by Fran. (Staffa Island boat trip £15 not included in the price as it depends on the weather).

4-11 May - Intermediate Crete 1
Sea view rooms - Diana & Helen - Greece
7 nights excl. flight & meals: £540

Coast paths above the emerald sea, stunning gorges including famous Samaria, and a tranquil, unspoilt place to stay that you wouldn't think existed any more.

Fuller detail
The south coast of Crete. This is the first of two opportunities this year to spend a relaxed week in Crete exploring some of the gorges and coast paths in the south and southwest of this magical island. May is a delightful month to walk in Crete - when the sun is not too hot and the island is still green with many wild flowers and aromatic herbs. We'll be staying on the south coast in Maria and Christina's lovely ensuite sea-view Oasis Rooms at Polirizos beach - a tiny un-spoilt hamlet beside a cove consisting of little more than a few tavernas. From here, there are beautiful coastal paths above the emerald sea - stopping for a dip if we please, and we'll visit the amazing gorges of Imbros and famous Samaria - taking a bus and taxi via Hania to Samaria, and starting our descent later than most so that we have its amazing scenery virtually to ourselves. At the bottom of the gorge, we will stay for a night at Agia Roumeli's Hotel Calypso, and walk back along the coast to Loutro the next day. There will also be a day-off from walking to enjoy the beautiful beach around the headland - where you can swim as topless or bottomless as you wish! (Ensuite single suppl. £10 a night). Guided by Diana.Flowers everywhere.

Maria and Christina's Oasis Rooms are comfortable and ensuite, with a balcony overlooking the sea, and a kitchen area for breakfast. It is much simpler here to each buy our own food for breakfast & packed lunches - much of which we can do at a good supermarket on our way from the airport. We can then ask Maria to order us fresh bread daily for breakfast, and we can buy butter, honey, yoghurt, cheese, tomatoes and anything else we need at the little shop in Rothakino. In the evenings we'll eat out at the tavernas by the sea (from £8).

7-11 May - Gentle Gower
Hotel - Gaynor - South Wales
4 nights part board: £345

Another new holiday - the beautiful Gower peninsula on the South Coast of Wales with sea view rooms!

Fuller detail View along Rhossili beach.
The Gower Peninsula was the first area in Wales to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lying between Swansea and Carmarthen Bays, the Gower's southern coastline includes magnificent limestone cliffs interspersed with sandy bays, and offers some of the most stunning coastal scenery in Britain. This holiday with Gaynor is based at the Worms Head Hotel overlooking the sea from Rhossili village. We have reserved plenty of ensuite single rooms - all with sea views! From here we can walk straight out onto the cliffs overlooking the striking Worms Head causeway, then on to Mewslade Bay - one of the prettiest bays on the Gower. If we want more of a challenge, we could slowly climb the path to Rhossili Beacon for the most rewarding views of all, then follow Rhossili Down to the sea so that we can walk back along the beach. On other days we'll take the bus to two other stunning and varied walks - on Pennard Cliffs and to Nicholaston Burrows. All these walks are within the WW Gentle grade but may involve more up and down than some other Gentle destinations. The nearest train station is Swansea, 18 miles away with good bus connections to Rhossili. Parking at the car park adjacent to the hotel costs £2 a day.

10-17 May - Turkish Coast-Walking & Sailing 3 Full
Traditional yacht - Lorraine - Low Intermediate
7 nights full board excl. flight: £615

Another opportunity this may to enjoy exploring the Turkish coast on foot while staying in ensuite twin or single cabins on a traditional, crewed sailing yacht.

Fuller detail East Meets West moored near Cleopatras Bath.
Over the holiday we will journey between Marmaris and Fethiye, sometimes cruising, but usually walking to the next rendezvous point along forested tracks and quiet lanes with views to the mountains, the woods, or out over the islands along this lovely coast. The walks will vary to suit the terrain, averaging low intermediate in grade with one steeper ascent. Walking to Dalyan village we will catch a river boat to the mud baths and ruins at Caunos, while on other days there may be 2-3 shorter walks with sailing in between - to take in Cleopatra's Bath, other Roman ruins and tombs, or the sunset from Yassica Island. On the last day there can be an optional excursion to view the amazing Saklikent Gorge and the ruins of Tlos - or you might prefer a relaxing day on the boat, swimming from a nearby beach or visiting the local hammam for a Turkish bath. The holiday is priced on a full board basis with delicious meals served on deck in the evening.

11-18 May - Intermediate Crete 2
Sea view rooms - Marian & Helen - Greece
7 nights excl. flight & meals: £540

Coast paths above the emerald sea, stunning gorges including famous Samaria, and a tranquil, unspoilt place to stay that you wouldn't think existed any more.

Fuller detail View from the top of the Samarian Gorge.
This second Crete week is with Marian - another opportunity to explore some of the gorges and coast paths in the south and southwest of this magical island. May is a lovely month to walk in Crete - when the sun is not too hot and the island is still green with many wild flowers and aromatic herbs. We'll be staying in lovely ensuite rooms at Polirizos beach near Rothakino on the south coast - a tiny un-spoilt hamlet beside a cove with a few tavernas, a tiny hotel, and Oasis Rooms run by Maria and Christina. From here we can visit the amazing gorges of Imbros and famous Samaria, and walk beautiful coastal paths above the emerald sea - stopping for a dip when we please! For the Samarian Gorge we'll take a bus and taxis via Hania, starting our descent later than most, so that we have its amazing scenery virtually to ourselves. We'll stop for the night at the bottom of the gorge - at Agia Roumeli's Hotel Calypso, and walk back along the coast via Loutro the next day. On other days we'll walk from our door, or take a minibus to walks. There will also be one day off from walking to enjoy the beautiful beach around the headland - where you can swim as topless or bottomless as you wish!

B&B - Chrissie - Somerset
4 nights full board: £355

A holiday exploring the Quantock Hills with Chrissie from a delightful base at Huntstile Organic Farm.

Fuller detail
Walking on the Quantock Hills in Somerset. The peaceful Quantock Hills in Somerset were the first area in England to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Standing above the Vale of Taunton, they afford far-reaching views across nine counties and over the Bristol Channel to the Welsh hills. Our walks will explore lesser known routes over moorland hilltops and through quiet wooded combes full of spring flowers where we might see ponies, badgers, buzzards, and red deer. We will be based at Huntstile Organic Farm on the outskirts of Goathurst village - a 14th century farmhouse that has its own stone circle, a spring-fed lake, and woods to explore. In addition to the farmhouse rooms we will have the use of the Apple Loft, the Cider House, the Studio, the Summerhouse - delightfully converted outbuildings offering a range of ensuite twins, ensuite and standard singles. In the evening Lizzie will cook us delicious dinners. Lizzie and John grow many of their own vegetables, have a small herd of cattle and "a flock of organic chickens that lay the most delicious free-range eggs in the world (probably)!" Goathurst village is easy to reach from the M5 or by taxi from either Bridgwater Station (5 miles) or Taunton station (9 miles). Guided by Chrissie. 29 May-5 Jun - Intermediate Tuscany 1
Small chalets/villas - Clare - Italy
7 nights full board ex. flights: £655

A new WW holiday in Tuscany - staying in attractive small villas in the Garfagnana valley to walk on the Apennines and the Alpi Apuane.

Fuller detail
Walking in TuscanyOur new Tuscany holiday takes place in the magnificent, wooded Garfagnana valley, set between the green, rolling Apennine mountains and the more rugged "marble mountains" of the Alpi Apuane. Our walks will be through woods to attractive hillside villages, and on rough mountain tracks where the 'ups' will be rewarded by extensive views as far as the Ligurian coast. We will also have a day off from walking to visit the beautiful walled city of Lucca with its marble clad churches and winding streets, or to take time out and relax by the pool back at Casine Di Bracciacorti where we stay. The Casine comprises of several small chalets/villas converted from the original farm buildings plus a larger central villa where we will have our meals. The food will be traditional Tuscan fare prepared by our hosts - a real treat not to be missed! There are plenty ensuite or standard singles available (Single supplements a night: £15 Ensuite, £10 Standard). A pool with a view! The grounds are extensive with space to wander, a large swimming pool, and even a 6-hole golf course! Transport to the walks will be by private minibus. The day out in Lucca will be by train taking in the stunning scenery along the Serchio river. All meals are included except on the free day when there are plenty of cafes to choose from in Lucca and a trip to the local pizzeria in the evening is a must!

Flight to Pisa is not included. Airport transfer IS included!
You can fly from Gatwick, Bristol, Manchester & Newcastle to Pisa, all arriving between 10.30-12.10. We will have 2 minibus transfers to cover this spread. (On 5th Jun, return transfers will suit flights leaving 11.00-13.00).

Easyjet fly from Gatwick & Bristol, and Jet2 from Newcastle & Manchester. (Thomsons also flies from Manchester). We are happy to book your flight for you if you wish for a flight booking fee of £10.

Arrangements

UK holidays - Arrival & Departure details

Getting away for a break! The first date given for a holiday is the day you arrive. We don't walk on that day, except perhaps for an evening stroll to get to know each other. You can usually get into your room from 2pm. Your guide will arrive by 5pm and will leave a message at reception to say where she'll be at that time. Dinner is generally at 7pm - so do tell us if you think you will be late in case we can hold your meal. The walks start at a convenient time after breakfast each day. Their length depends on the grade and sometimes we might change a walk because of the weather. The walk on the last day is shorter, and we are generally back by 2pm for trains from 3pm. However, on weekend breaks and treks - especially if intermediate and high level - we are generally not back till 3pm for trains from 4pm. When booking a weekend or a trek, please tell us if you will need to leave earlier than this.

Accommodation

Lovely places to stay! The accommodation we book for the holidays varies hugely - from charming small hotels and inns, to moderately priced guesthouses, and ideally-located hostels and mountain refuges. The prices are based on you sharing a room with another member of the group unless it says otherwise. Singles with or without a supplement are often available if you book early. All supplements are given as a figure per night. In hostels and refuges you mostly sleep in bunk beds sharing a dormitory with other members of the group. Help yourself to a free welcome cuppa from the Member's Kitchen when you arrive! For much more accommodation information see our Accommodation page

Frequent Walker Miles!

It's very gratifying how many women return for more WalkingWomen holidays after their first experience. So we've introduced 'Frequent Walker Miles' as a way of giving something back to you. This means that if you come on 3 holidays in a calendar year, we'll take £20 pounds off the 3rd one - and again off the 6th!

Trekking

Walking to a new place each day.If 'trekking' to you means days of slogging with the kitchen sink on your back - forget it! We use the words 'Trekking' or 'Trek' to refer to holidays that involve walking to a new place most days, allowing us to get off the beaten track and reach more remote places like the stunning Western Lakes or a high Alpine valley. We transport the luggage by taxi or porters wherever possible, and on trips where this is not possible we clarify in the holiday description the number of days you will carry extra gear. A trekking day can sometimes be a little longer than a day walk of the same grade and there isn't the same flexibility to take a day off as with other holidays, so please choose the grade with special care. The reward is the satisfaction of having walked there and seeing a new valley come into view. If a UK trek is not circular we arrange transport back to the starting point or nearest station for free or for a shared charge (see the holiday description & travel directions).

Taking time out - other things to do

Whether you walk each day is up to you; it's only tricky if you want to take time out on a trekking day! There are lots of other things to do - either for a day off or after walking. You might also want to walk on your own for a day, or sit under a tree to read, paint, or do nothing!

Travel directions

Travel directions and a list of what to bring will be sent to you with your confirmation of booking. You will also find a lot of useful information on the Travel & Gear page of this website. We confirm the booking after you have paid the deposit. If you would like to see travel directions before you book, just email us for a copy.

Dogs

WalkingWomen has been set up to cater for the needs and safety of women who want to walk. Assistance dogs (e.g 'blind' dog, 'hearing' dog etc) are permitted on all WW holidays and at all UK accommodations we use. Non-assistance dogs are allowed at some accommodations we use (see below), but will only be allowed to join walks if they are well behaved around people and sheep, are under control at all times, and are not likely to be experienced as threatening due to their size or breed. If the guide feels that your dog is endangering or annoying other women, you will be asked to make other arrangements even if it means that you cannot join the walk. For this reason, please consider carefully whether your dog is sufficiently well behaved and non-threatening to others before bringing him or her on a holiday - and please let us know beforehand.

Dogs are only permitted at the hotels we use in: Great Langdale, Derwent Water, and Lulworth Cove. Dogs are also exceptionally allowed at Glenthorne when we take the whole guest house for ourselves - e.g Christmas. (Accommodations often charge extra for cleaning).

If you are frightened of or allergic to dogs, please avoid holidays at the above locations since even if there is no dog ' in the group', there may be other dogs staying at the hotel. If you are very allergic to dogs, please let us know in case there is an Assistance dog as part of the group.

Foreign Holidays - Flights, ATOL, transfers…

On most WW foreign holidays your guide will meet you at your departure airport if she is flying on the same flight, or look for her as you come into the Arrivals hall at your destination. We include the transfer to your accommodation on practically all foreign holidays. Please see your holiday details sheet for the time of this transfer and/or the flights that it meets.

The cost of your flight is not included in any 2010 holiday price. There simply hasn't been time for Sue Donovan, the new owner of WalkingWomen, to obtain an ATOL licence in her own name before the brochure went to print. We can, however, buy your flight on our agent's ATOL licence for all those holidays which were previously ATOL protected in the WW programme (Nepal, South Africa, La Gomera, & Crete), and for any other scheduled or charter flights that may be an option on some holidays. Our agent for long haul destinations (i.e Nepal & South Africa) usually only requests a deposit for your flight until 10 weeks before departure.

For holidays involving budget airlines we are happy to buy your flight for you on your card if you do not have the Internet access or the time to buy it yourself. If your payment card requires a security code for online purchases, we will need to contact you back for these details in order to get the payment put though.

More and more countries are requiring advance passenger information (called API or APIS) as an anti-terrorism measure. Some are starting to introduce this retrospectively for flights already purchased. So for all flight purchases we now ask for your passport number + its issue date, expiry date, & place of issue; your nationality; and your date of birth. It is because of the increased admin involved in buying flights today that we have started to charge a flight booking fee of £10 - please accept our apologies.

If you buy your own flight...

WalkingWomen arranges the airport transfer to your destination on most foreign holidays to keep arrangements simple and affordable. If you are buying your own flight, please first check your holiday information sheet to see which flight/s will suit this transfer in each direction, (or for details of our transfer time). Your guide will usually be travelling on this flight or she will meet you as you come through from Baggage Reclaim at your destination. WalkingWomen is not responsible for your transfer if you arrive at a different time or on a different flight than the one we have detailed. Most of our holidays are based at some distance from the airport, and it will often be difficult or expensive for you to arrange your own transfer. Please contact the WW office before buying a different flight from the one/s given on your Holiday Information Sheet.

Insurance essential on foreign holidays

If you book a foreign holiday with WalkingWomen it is essential that you have sickness and injury insurance. Insurance against your having to cancel is highly recommended on ALL holidays.

If you want very competitive annual insurance, try Essential Travel on 0845 803 5434 or Columbus Direct Insurance on 0870 033 9988 . Columbus will also take an additional 10% off is you say you're booking with WalkingWomen. Age Concern (0845 600 3348) is the most competitive insurance we've found if you are over 65 years. If you hear of a direct insurance company offering better rates, please do let us know!

Insurance on UK holidays?

If you are taken ill at the last minute and cannot come on holiday, you might also be very glad to have cancellation insurance in place. Many companies offer very competitive rates for short breaks, or for an annual travel insurance policy that covers all your holidays over the year. Try Essential Travel Insurance or Columbus Direct Insurance above.

What is included in our pricesReading the small print!

  • Every holiday/break price is inclusive of: the walks and guides; any activities that are specified as part of the break; and guides for special interest holidays. There are walks arranged for every day apart from the day you arrive, and shorter on the last day. You can walk every day or take time out whenever you feel like it (this is not possible on a trekking day when we have a new destination to reach).
  • Unless we say otherwise prices include: all luggage transport on trekking holidays; transport to walks or across a lake on a ferry if it's a necessary part of the walk for that day; transfer from a foreign airport to the holiday venue on all flight included holidays, and most non-flight included holidays.
  • All accommodation is included for the number of nights specified, plus full or part board per number of nights (see individual holidays in the Calendar). Where full board is not provided it is generally because you will get a more economic deal with part board. Full board means that all breakfast, packed lunch, & evening meals are included. If the holiday is 'part board' please check the holiday details for clarification. In B&Bs/hotels the price is based on you sharing a room, with a friend or another woman from the walking group. In youth hostels and refuges it is based on you sharing a dormitory. Very exceptionally in alpine refuges we might have to share with individuals not from the group. The price and availability of single and ensuite supplements is given in the holiday details as a figure per night (see the page number referred to in the Calendar).

Each holiday/break clearly states what is included in the cost of the holiday. We are not able to cover costs for any other activity you may choose to do besides walking eg. bike hire, cream teas, refreshments apart from those provided as part or full board, entrance fees unless specified as included, public or private transport separate from that used during a walk. If you are in any doubt, please phone us.
